For Our Vacation Hangover
Coming back from vacation is hard enough. There’s no reason your wardrobe has to snap back to reality, too. Instead of immediately retiring the linen shirts, relaxed trousers and woven accessories, keep some of that out-of-office energy going. The trick is taking those pieces that felt perfectly at home somewhere along the Mediterranean and grounding them with everyday staples. You may be back at your desk, but your outfit can still look like it has plans for an afternoon Aperol.
It’s less about dressing like you’re still on vacation and more about hanging onto that relaxed state of mind. An airy striped shirt works just as well with pleated chinos as it did with swim trunks, while suede loafers or clean sneakers make breezy trousers feel decidedly more city-ready. Add a woven belt, a handsome daily carry bag and a solid watch and consider it a soft landing back into real life, and a good excuse not to pack away the best things you wore all summer.
