We’re simply calling it “summer casual.” You can also call it your new uniform. Either way, this easy combination proves that looking good in hot weather doesn’t have to be complicated.

What We’re Wearing

Summer Casual

We put together this look before we really had a theme. Some outfits are easy to define. Others just work. This falls squarely into the latter category: relaxed without looking sloppy, polished without feeling precious. It’s the kind of combination that makes getting dressed in the summer feel effortless. Start with some wide-leg chinos secured with a braided belt, topped with a breezy plaid shirt layered over a tank (and tucked in just enough to keep things sharp). Then add a pair of timeless sunglasses and a piece of jewelry with a little personality, and you've got a look that can handle just about anything on your calendar, from a day at the office to a backyard gathering that stretches well past sunset.

Linen’s More Versatile
Than You Think

Linen has long been saddled with a reputation as the fabric of destination weddings, tropical vacations and men who don’t really mind looking a little rumpled by noon. But today’s best linen pieces are far more versatile. Thanks to modern blends, smarter tailoring and relaxed-yet-polished silhouettes, linen can easily earn a spot in your everyday wardrobe. Huckberry’s Linen Shop is proof: offering everything from breezy button-downs and easygoing trousers to lightweight jackets and tailored shorts that feel just as appropriate at the office as they do at a backyard barbecue.
