The New Shoes on Our Radar
When’s the last time you bought yourself some shoes? Let this be your sign that it’s time. There are so many great styles dropping these days, we thought we would pull a few of our current favorites to showcase. From some relaxed loafers and a classic white sneaker to rugged trail runner, these are the kicks our team can’t stop talking about.
Our Picks |
Drake’s Cotton Espadrille
Drake’s takes the humble espadrille and makes it feel impossibly refined. Cut from a clean canvas herringbone twill and finished with a traditional rope sole, it’s got that perfectly relaxed shape that only works in warm weather. They’re lightweight, easy to pack, and somehow make linen trousers and wrinkled shirts look even better. Wear them sockless, obviously. The kind of summer shoe that makes you want a Negroni in hand by 4 p.m.

ZARA x Aaron Levine Suede Loafer
ZARA is referring to these as loafers, but we see them more as relaxed slippers made to be worn out in the world. Aaron Levine collaborated with the brand for this modern take on a suede slip-on and toughens it up with a hard-wearing Vibram sole that adds traction and the ability to wear them all day. The relaxed deconstructed design allows the back to be folded down so they can be worn as open-back mules, too. Exactly the kind of smart high-low design move Levine’s good at.

Nike ACG Zegama
This is basically a hiking shoe disguised as a sneaker. The Zegama is built for trails, but the oversized sole and technical upper make it feel right at home in the city too. It’s lightweight, ridiculously cushioned and grippy enough for actual terrain—which means rainy sidewalks are no problem. Like most great ACG pieces, it lands somewhere between performance gear and genuinely cool design object. The real question is which of the five colorways speaks to you most?

The residence’s interior design leans into Aman’s refined aesthetic: pale oak, creamy stone, and blackened steel accents. They are, however, intentionally more personal than the hotel suites downstairs.” |

But here’s the rub: like Coke Classic or the McDonald’s Big Mac, the Levi’s 501 has been constantly tweaked over the decades.” |
